Our Puffs contain six grams of plant based protein, as much as a serving of eggs, tofu, or almonds. They are 25-50% lower in carbohydrates than leading chips and puffs snacks with 0g of sugar per serving.
One special little seed
Brass Roots' Snack Puffs are also made with Sacha Inchi, a seed native to Peru that looks, tastes and feels similar to a peanut. With more protein per serving than almonds, cashews, and peanuts, it is a complete protein containing all essential amino acids, including healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Sacha Inchi has very high protein digestibility compared with many other vegan protein sources. As a viable agricultural export, it is also a new source of income for many low income communities in Southeast Asia and South America.
