2-Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Nice Cream

2-Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Nice Cream

Here at Brass Roots we believe that ice cream should be for every day and especially on National Ice Cream Day! We have the easiest, simplest, healthiest, no-churn Chocolate "Nice Cream"!

What makes it "nice cream"? Well, besides how it tastes *oh so nice*, it's a great healthy substitute that you can eat any time of day. We especially love having it for breakfast with some protein powder mixed in to fuel us throughout the day! This nice cream is made out of bananas, Chocolate Sacha Inchi Butter and a little oat/nut milk! Even the milk is optional if you're willing to put in some elbow grease!

Summer is here so try this chill recipe and show us what you create by tagging @brassrootsfood on IG!

Does it keep? This recipe is best consumed day of, but you can always make a big batch ahead of time and pop it in the freezer! Just defrost for a few minutes before you eat it.

Ingredients

  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate Sacha Inchi Butter
  • Optional: Oat/Nut Milk
  • Toppings/Additional Add-Ins: Hemp Seeds (extra protein), Frozen Cherries, an espresso shot, chocolate chips, frozen raspberries.

Instructions

  • Put everything into a food processor/blender and blitz.
*You made have to stop and push the bananas down with a spatula if things are getting stuck. Feel free to add some oat or nut milk a tsp at a time to create a runnier texture. If your nice cream becomes too runny, pop it into the freezer for an hour or so and it'll harden right up!

      Notes:

*Freeze your bananas ahead of time! You slice up a big batch of bananas and keep them frozen for future Nice Cream creations. We love to wait until our bananas are a little brown and spotty for maximum sweetness
